AUDIO | Supportive housing assists people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, with the goal of promoting long-term health and well-being for both the residents and the overall community. Boundary Crescent is one of several housing facilities with supports in Nanaimo, British Columbia, providing 41 units of permanent, subsidized and staffed housing. Boundary Crescent operates as a partnership between Nanaimo Affordable Housing Society, Vancouver Island Mental Health Society and Haven Society. Each partner agency provides distinct but complementary activities to the project and the tenants.
