Canada’s National Addictions Awareness Week (NAAW) highlights issues and solutions to help address alcohol- and other drug-related harm. It provides an opportunity for Canadians to learn more about prevention, to talk about treatment and recovery, and to bring forward solutions for change.
This year NAAW is from November 25 to December 1 and the theme is Stigma Ends with Me. With your help, we want to increase understanding of the devastating stigma associated with substance use and addiction and its impact on the well-being of people touched by this health issue.
Together with partners like the Community Addictions Peer Support Association and you, we are taking the conversation about stigma nationwide. National Addictions Awareness Week in Canada is led by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction.  Find out more here…
