The Inside-Out program at Vancouver Island University brings undergraduates together with learners inside the prison system for a semester of shared learning. Criminology professor Joanne Falvai brought Inside-Out to Nanaimo in 2016. She spoke with People First Radio about what she’s been able to see at the program in the years since.
