Seeing a superhero dealing with schizophrenia inspired writer Bevan Thomas to create a new project.
He and publisher Cloudscape Comics brought together a group of 11 artists, each of whom would explore their own experiences with mental health and mental illness in a graphic novel anthology called Through The Labyrinths of the Mind.
In addition to serving as one of the anthology’s editors, Thomas contributed one of the stories, The Sorrow of Sir Geraint.
Thomas deals with depression and anxiety, and feels the subject should be talked about and explored more.
He spoke with People First Radio about Through the Labyrinths of the Mind, and using the medium of graphic novels to talk about mental health.
