AUDIO | The COVID-19 pandemic continues to create massive challenges — and potentially long-lasting changes — in our individual and collective experience of family, community, and nationhood. We’re learning more about the need for mental, as well as physical, wellness. We’re also talking a lot more about the way society should — and could — function for the benefit of all.
The Vancouver-based Stigma Free Society has launched a new website called “The Stigma-Free COVID-19 Youth Wellness Tool Kit”. The Toolkit informs students in Grades 4 to 6 and Grades 7 to 12 about mental well-being, with an emphasis on taking care of their mental health. It provides a range of tools and resources in a home learning environment that opens up conversations free of stigma, while encouraging overall wellness.
Stigma-Free Society president Andrea Paquette spoke about the website on People First Radio.
